Opening Ceremony

 | This will kick the whole week off. It will be a fantastic opening with a stroll alongside the Avon River , to the picturesque Victoria Square , where you will receive a full traditional Maori Welcome.

Yes, it could scare the daylights out of you, but you will never forget it!.
There will be the obligatory speeches of welcome, kept as short as necessary . Then there will be a couple of hours Cocktail Party (including some complimentary drinks and nibble food) in the adjacent Christchurch Town Hall.
